OZEN Donates Camera Support for the Jim Vance Media Center in Washington , DC.

The state-of-the-art Jim Vance Media Center opens for student scholars interested in journalism at Archbishop Carroll High School, as reported by NBC on March 12, 2020.

The facilities, named after Jim Vance, a longtime and well-respected anchorman at WRC-TV (the NBC-owned station in the Washington, DC metro area), is made possible by a generous donation of 5 million dollars from a local successful businessman and longtime benefactor of ACHS – Mr. Steven Newby.

OZEN was invited to help equip the Media Center's camera support systems. OZEN responded by supplying two OZ-20PED40 Light-studio pedestal systems, at-cost, and donating $10,000 in additional studio and field camera support systems to aid in developing students’ ‘hands-on’ Production & news-gathering skills.

"Every now and then, an opportunity to step-up and perform a good deed comes along. We are proud to have played a small part in assisting the creation fo the Center, helping grow our future journalists. " as said David Cox, sales manager of OZEN.
